Description
Camille Pissarro was a Danish-French impressionist and neo impressionist painter. He loved to draw from nature and painted a lot of landscape paintings. His later works are masterpieces of pointillism among impressionist. In addition, Pissarro’s portraits also have his unique style. Since 1873, he had become a key person among the Impressionist artists. According to art historian John Reward, this is not only because he was the oldest among the Impressionist artists but also because of his gentle and kind character. From year 1874 to 1886, the Impressionist painters of Paris had held eight exhibitions and, as an active painter, only his works were exhibited every time.
